EARTH DAY IS EVERY DAY

The EMA is a 501(c)6 organization that promotes those in the industry making great strides in environmental sustainability, recognizing their work and accomplishments towards environmental change.

We do so not only to recognize those doing good in the industry, but to show such acts to students and their communities in efforts to encourage their interest in the environment and environmental science.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM GOLF OUTING

Every summer, the EMA hosts a golf outing to raise money for our Environmental Achievement Scholarship Fund. Scholarships are awarded to students who participate in the Science & Engineering Fair of Metro-Detroit demonstrating excellence in the Environmental Sciences category, as EMA volunteers conduct our own professional awards judging at the SEFMD in downtown Detroit.

ENVIRONMENTAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

The Environmental Achievement Awards ceremony is one of the highlight events for the EMA and friends of the EMA alike. This event gives us the opportunity to acknowledge, recognize, and award those in the environmental industry for their outstanding efforts in the forward progression for environmental sustainability and change in three ways: student scholarships, company achievement awards, and an individual legend award.
